In the meeting held on 22.01.2010 between Railway Board (Adviser IR) and the Federation on Revision of designation of certain Group `C’ posts consequent upon implementation of 6th CPC recommendations, it was agreed by the Official Side(Railway Board) that provisionally in case of merged grades, designations of the highest grade posts would be kept intact and revision will be done later, after discussions with the Organized Labour.
